Help! I've Been Tagged

I was zapped by Erin from Blue Thoughts in this crazy game of blog tag. It's sort of like a chain letter (and I hate those things).  I don't even care for those forward emails that everyone seems to love.  People don't even send them to me anymore (most of the time) because I usually won't read them.

Anyway, Brian already broke the chain so I will also half-ass this thing.

Here are the rules:

A) Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog.

B) Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself.

C) Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.

D) Let each person know that they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

1. I may be the only person in the world who doesn't own a cellphone.  What about emergencies?  I've blown out a tire on a major highway in the middle of the night while it was snowing.  TWICE.  I managed.

2. I have a twin sister.  No, we are not identical and no we can't read each other's thoughts.

3. If I pay for something in cash, I never give exact change.  Even if I have it.  Gimme those coins!!

4. I always wanted to learn to play the bass guitar when I was a kid, but for one reason or another I never did.  A few years ago I finally picked one up (complete with the "teach yourself" DVD).  While no one will ever mistaken me for a pro, I'm somewhat pleased with how my playing has come around.  The first bassline I learned was "Sunshine of Your Love" by Cream.

5. I don't drink alcohol.  No, I'm not religious and yes I've been drunk before.  And no, I'm not a recovering alcoholic.

6. I think The Simpsons is the greatest TV show in the history of the world.  And I possess the geek-like encyclopedic knowledge to prove it.

7. I save the ticket stub to every sporting event or concert I go to.  I've got a pretty nice collection.  Wanna know where I sat during Dwight Gooden's no-hitter in 1996 or the Jets' Midnight Miracle in 2000?  How bout Metallica in 1992 or Tool in 2001?  Of course you don't.

Well, that's it.  I won't spread this pestilence to other bloggers, but I will link to everyone else on the network for your reading pleasure:

El Lefty Malo, Cobra Brigade, Stop Mike Lupica, Loge 13, Fightin' Phils Fans, Giggin' On Ya, Tremendous Upside Potential and Arin It Out.

Enjoy!
